Grudge Match at Breakfast Hill: Rain, Rivalries, and a Whole Lot of Fun

If you missed this one, you really missed out.

The Grudge Match at Breakfast Hill went down this past weekend, and not even the rain could stop the competition or the trash talk. Despite the wet conditions, the turnout was strong, and the energy was even stronger.

It was a tight match from start to finish, but in the end, Matt Desfosses and Eric Heizer walked away with the win. Eric’s scorching 74 made him nearly impossible to beat. Hats off to Dan Prisco (80) and Chris Rush (86), who kept things interesting and gave it their all right to the final hole.

But the real highlight? After the last putt dropped, everyone stuck around for lunch at Sweet Chix Kitchen. The food hit the spot, and the trash talk didn’t slow down one bit—if anything, it ramped up.

The Grudge Match is always about more than just scores, it's about the camaraderie, the competition, and the laughs that follow. Can’t wait for the next one.
